Ever noticed the nifty YouTube tab on The Dash Facebook page?

Now it’s time to get your very own! Pretty cool huh?

It’s important to give people a reason to visit your Facebook page, I know you don’t have a ton of spare time to create additional content just for your Facebook buddies. That’s why it’s important to automate your content streams into your page to continuously give fans something fresh to check out. Integrating your Facebook and YouTube accounts just requires one simple app – Involver’s YouTube Channel app which you can find on this page. Start by clicking the “install” button on this page under the YouTube Channel app. From there you will need to enter your YouTube username and choose your settings, I’ve created a quick video containing how to do that and other Facebook app modifications that you can watch right here:

Hi! This is Laura Roeder of getthedash.com, and today I’m going to show you how to do some things with apps on your Facebook page like add the tab and edit the settings of your app.

So if you install a Facebook app and you don’t see it showing up on your page, it’s probably because you need to add it with this little plus sign right here. So I’m logged in to my Facebook page. If I want an app to show up on this top navigation, I hit the little plus sign and then I have the other apps that I have installed that don’t have their own tab. So to add the Discussions tab, I just click the little plus sign, hit Discussions, and there we go, and now I have the Discussions tab. So if I want to get rid of it, I just hit the little edit arrow and hit Delete Tab.

Now, to get to your app settings, you need to go to Edit Page over on the left side and then you’ll see each application show up right here. So usually the settings within them like the YouTube for Pages application, if I need to enter my YouTube username and all that stuff, again on my page I went to Edit on the left-hand side. Now I scroll down to the application and hit Edit right here and that’s where I can find all my settings, whereI can enter my name. For all of your different applications, this is where you’re going to look to find the different settings.

So again, once you’re logged in to your page, just go to that page and hit Edit Page here on the left side. For all the app settings, hit the little plus sign in order to add a new tab for an app.

Again, this is Laura Roeder of getthedash.com.
