Setting up your email newsletter might be one of those things that you know you should be doing, but just haven’t gotten around to yet because it seems too complicated. Not to worry! You need to be able to send to individuals, personalize the email to them, and track whether or not they are reading your messages and clicking through the links to your website or social media accounts. After all, you want to know that the time you spend putting this together is paying off!

So, you will need to find an email marketing service. There are so many options, that it might seem hard to choose. Here are some key features to look for:

  1. Ability to create an opt-in box for your website (where people can sign up for your newsletter).
  2. Reliable delivery rates and good analytics tracking (for email opens, bounces, unsubscribes, click-throughs, etc).
  3. Pre-formatted design templates and an easy-to-use system for you to design your newsletter layout.
  4. Easy to use auto-responder setup, so people who subscribe automatically get a reply message that includes a link to your free download, free report, e-book, video series, etc.
