This is the fifth and final post in a series of posts as part of the Famous in Five Challenge. To catch up on Ann’s progress, start here.
Famous In Five: Day 5 / Approx. Time to Complete: 23 minutes
When I started this challenge, I really had no idea what to expect. I am blown away! It has been such a privilege to live blog this challenge with you all on the LKR blog. This has been an incredible experience and I can’t wait to see what LKR comes up with next!
On the warm fuzzy side, I feel more confident in my brand “voice”, in sharing my story, and in reaching out to people online with pitches. Without this confidence, I would have a MUCH harder time with the action-oriented tasks it takes to go out and claim my fame.
The Famous in Five Challenge worked faster than I expected it to! If your results look anything like mine, we’re both making more money, getting more opt-ins, and earning more attention online.
Unconvinced? Let’s just consider the following stats:
Since starting the Famous in Five Challenge, I grew my email newsletter list by 20 people. My list started out kind of small so this is amazing for only 5 days!
I’ve been invited to be a panelist at a local conference and am already slotted to present 2 webinars for an online telesummit!
An article of mine was accepted for an association newsletter, going out to over 5,000 professionals & decision makers!
One of my pitches has already gotten back to me and wants me to guest blog for their site!
There is a *waiting list* 10 people deep to schedule a free 15 minute strategy session with me.
I’ve already made over $100 in sales without sending any sales emails! Considering I didn’t even offer products on my website until a week ago and the fact that I haven’t truly marketed them yet, this is an amazing result.
118 new Twitter followers! #ermahgerd
I KNOW I would not have gotten these kinds of results if I wasn’t live blogging the Famous in Five Challenge as well. If you’ve been blogging your own journey, make sure to comment with a link to your posts so we can all support you! If you haven’t completed the challenge or you started a little late, let me be your cheerleader and encourage you to stick it through. If you do, you won’t even believe the results you’ll get.
When Laura said in her video that she would make fame an inevitability, she wasn’t kidding.
Okay, so new plan: I’m definitely going to want to recreate my Famous in Five exercises at least once every month. Gotta keep that momentum going!
For those of you who’re curious where I’m sending pitches for Day 5, here’s my list:
